St. Kevin’s Family Resource centre works with the Dublin Dun Laoighaire Education and Training Board in delivering community education courses. We run courses in areas such as health & wellbeing and art. See our Facebook page for more information or our booklet in the news section.
Each January in partnership with Tallaght Community School, we run an Inter-generational project, with transition year students teaching older people computers. The learning is led by the older person and can take in areas such as internet usage, Zoom, emails, mobile phones and laptops. The project is great fun with lots of learning for both the older people as well as the students.
Throughout the year we run a 6 week programme called Getting Started. This programme is for people who are over 55 years who are interested in learning basic computer skills.
